Typography Tuesday

Ok, little secret about me: I love typography! My boyfriend is one of the best designers around (I swear I am not bias) and he completely got me hooked on the beauty of letters, fonts, and words. Now, everywhere I go, I find myself looking at type- it's design, how it's arranged, whether or not the spacing between the letters is right, etc. So, in the spirit of everything type, I found some fantastic photos that showcase how beautiful typography can be in your home.

I just found this article featuring actress Lara Flynn Boyle's house from InStyle's Spring 2004 issue, and I had to share! The spaces in her house are the perfect balance of masculine, feminine, vintage, and classic decor.

Inside Aerin Lauder's Closet

Aerin Lauder, granddaughter of makeup heiress and empire, Estee Lauder, opens up her closet and reveals her obsession (Louboutin flats) along with intriquette details about the space.

The wallpaper is hand painted by Gracie, and it's the same one Estee Lauder had in her home.

What does Aerin have to have multiples of? 1.Lanvin and Louboutin flats 2. Jeans and Marc Jacob Stam bags!


Aerin sits on her vintage work table, which was designed by Gabriella Crespi.

Most of her jewelry pieces were gifts from her grandmother, Estee Lauder.
