Mirror Mirror on the Wall

Mirrors are such amazing pieces of furniture (especially in small spaces like my townhouse!). They open up rooms and can look very elegant/ classy with minimal damage to our bank accounts! I was browsing through Michaels (the craft store) and I saw some really classic looking mirrors for $20-$50. I have yet to pick one up, but I think I might just have to!

I hope everyone takes the time to relax and enjoy their loved ones! I don't really talk about celebrity news on here, but I feel it necessary to mention a quick note about the lovely Natasha Richardson who passed suddenly this week. Her death was truly tragic, and serves as great reminder of how precious life is and that our time should be spent with those who make our hearts full!

On my weekend to-do list:

A day trip to Malibu where I can take unlimited amounts of pics with my newly charged camera! (I lost the battery last year and finally found it!)

A courtyard sale with our neighbors to clear out some clothes, shoes, handbags, etc.

Dancing in lieu of the dreaded workout DVDs!

Catch up on some writing for my screenplay.

And lastly, spending time with my love!

TOO BOLD?

These rooms are fantastic...but how bold is too bold? Is there a fine line between being bold and tacky, or is it okay to go for such loud colors?

These photos from British stylist Emma D'Inverno are gorgeous! Why am I so drawn to grey these days? Maybe it's the lingering winter-like weather?

I'm also really liking the elegant, yet simple look the hanging dress gives to the room. So glamorous!

It's just wallpaper...

I am loving these wallpaper prints! I would love to just take the plunge and do it in my bedroom, but for some reason I am so hesitant! I don't know why either, it's just wallpaper! It peels off, right?!

I have been so busy with graduating and some other personal issues, that blogging has been the last thing on my mind :( But I realized today that reading all of your blogs and seeing your beautiful, creative minds at work, is exactly where I need to be!

Green Never Looked SO Good

In an earlier post I wrote about trying to live greener, which subsequently got me searching all over the internet for "green" things! I came across this beautiful, green wedding set that looked so unique that I had to share it with you! I would have never guessed that such a bold shade of green could look so nice as the dominant color in a wedding :)
