Hello lovelies! Sorry for my absence this week- I've been searching for some new inspiration for Brunch at Saks and myself, so my posting and commenting has suffered a bit. I'm looking forward to having some downtime this Sunday to catch up on everyone's blog and make a few changes to my own.

Tiny House, BIG Color

Okay this little house has stolen my heart! Nestled in Nantucket, this 1 bed/1 bath cottage is barely 600 square feet, yet it is filled with the most amazing colored interiors I have ever seen!

Beautiful! Great inspiration for those of us who live in small spaces! I don't know how much my landlord would appreciate this type of color, but I'd sure love to give it a try!

Monday Motivation

Is it really Monday already?! We had a whirlwind weekend- driving from LA to Lake Tahoe and back in less than 48 hrs! While there we went to my cousin's wedding, which was truly beautiful. She looked stunning and everything was just gorgeous! It was really nice to be with our family just talking, dancing, and having a good time. I was sad to leave my family and the beautiful scenery along with the fresh air! Every time we go back to Northern California I realize how blessed I was to have grown up in such a beautiful place.

Anyhow, all of that left me so sleepy this morning, so I am in need of major inspiration! I wish I was heading to this office, designed by interior designer Clive Wilkinson for Disney's Store Headquarters.

Blankets, Throws, and Pillows

One of my favorite things to do is snuggle up on my couch while reading a good book, spending time with my lovey, or watching my fave shows. I have always been quite particular about pillows and throws on my couch, as I want them to be functional (mainly soft & cozy) while at the same time stylish and chic. This sometimes proves to be impossible, which is why I was elated to find these lovely blankets, throws, and pillows by Design Guild.

Chic-yet-practical living at it's best! You know you're getting old when home accessories like these excite you just as much as a new pair of shoes or handbags (well, almost as much)! Ha!

Quirky Tissue Paper Wedding

First, thank you so much for all of your opinions on the shoes yesterday! I am going to Nordy's this afternoon to see if they have the Stuart's in-*crossing my fingers* because I only have 3 days until we leave for Lake Tahoe which means I can't order them online! Thank you again!

Ok, on to this fabulous wedding! I love this fun and quirky tissue paper inspired wedding featured on Martha Stewart Weddings. From the bright colors and unique champagne bottles, right down to the bride's blue shoes and the grooms paisley stylish tie- everything is so unique and lovely!

Shoe Help Needed!

So I am headed to my cousin's wedding this weekend and I am having a may-jah shoe dilemma! I can't find the pics of the two dresses I am debating on, but both look similar to this one worn by Lauren Conrad:


Picking out the dresses was the easy part! Picking out the shoes seems to be a whole different story! I don't want to go too-platform in fear of looking like a cheap hooker at an elegant wedding, but I don't want to end up in ballet flats either! So I need your advice/help as to what you think will look good with the dress style that is appropriate for such an occasion! Here are my top 3 choices:

Monday Motivation: Bed of Flowers
