January Photo a Day

I remember once being moved after reading a story of a man who had snapped a Polaroid photo every day during the latter half of his life. Whether he captured a pair of his socks or a family member's smile, the significance was nestled in the fact that these were pieces, not necessarily moments, which made his life, well, his. Inspired by this simple act of documentary, I've attempted to do the same in minuscule proportion by taking a photo of one thing in my life each day over the course of one year, but I have failed to do so in sequential order, and subsequently started and stopped this project many times. Luckily, I seem to be one of many who would like to achieve such a goal, as my friend Parmie reached out in late December and asked if I'd like to participate in "January Photo a Day" where you snap a photo of something in your life that correlates with the prompted list of subjects for the entire month. I was ecstatic to start this project once more, and thought I'd share a recap of the photos each Saturday on here during the month of January. If you are participating, please let me know!
